  • Interdisciplinary Research in Socio-Digital Worlds (IRiS)

This research stream addresses the ways in which dimensions of social and technological worlds interact in economic, political, social, and cultural life. Areas to address in this field include inequality and participation; economic competiveness and regeneration; inclusion and education; media and cultural activity; health and wellbeing; and political and legal processes. These issues are relevant to policies such as: `Digital Britain´, European Union´s `e2010´, Global Focus on `ICT in Development´.
