17 members of Aston’s Asian Community have been learning more about diabetes using bespoke software developed through DC10plus.
Participants have gained both ICT & English skills language through the project, as well as learning more about diabetes – which affects up to 1 in 2 households in the area. One of the spin-off benefits has been an increase in visits to the doctors resulting from an increase in confidence.
